Career
J B Mauney started his career at an early age of 18 when he joined the Professional Bull Riders. In the initial stages of his career, he got good recognition and also won the PBR Rookie of the year award in 2006. In the same year, he also became the PBR challenger tour champion and won many fans with his style of playing.
Mauney continued his good form in later years and went on to win several tournaments. In the year 2009, he once again won the PBR Challenger Tour Championship and got several awards for his performance. He also joined the PRCA in the year 2009. Apart from that, he was also the PBR World Finals Event Champion in 2009. Interestingly, he was using a helmet during this time.
