Laura Wolvaardt started playing cricket at a young age and she was already part of the Under 19 team when she was 13 years old. She played for the Western Province team and even got selected for the Senior team in 2013. She also made her debut into the Brisbane Heat team in 2017 and later moved to Adelaide Strikers in 2020.
Laura made her T20 debut in 2019 and eas part of the Terblanche X team. She was later part of Northern Superchargers team. In her younger days, she was even named as Captain of the Under 19 team. She made her ODI debut at the age of 16 against England. At that age, she scored her first half century.
