Kyeon Mi Ri completed her graduation from Sejong University and joined the television industry as an actress. In the year 1985, she was seen in the project 500 years of Joseon Pungran. After getting good recognition from the filmmakers, she got to work in film industry along with television industry for many years.
In the year 1988, she was first seen in the movie Dangerous Scent Married Couple. In the same year, she was part of TV series 500 years of Joseon Queen Inhyeon and Famine in the city.
